Biography
Bronwen Casson was for twenty-five years a stage and costume designer at the National Theatre of Ireland. In 2003 she graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology (BA: Photography and Digital Imaging.)
She completed the MA course “Art in the Digital World” at the National College of Art and Design in 2007.
She works both as an artist, video artist and photographer. Her work has been exhibited widely in Ireland in both exhibitions and festivals, and in Germany, Argentina and California.
Her mixed media collages “Sunrise and Moonscapes” were exhibited at The Excel Gallery, Tipperary in March- April 2008.
Her Audio works: “No Man's Land” and This Business of Living, This Business of Dying are part of SoundLAB , a web based sonic art project. ( Edition IV –Memeoryscapes and “soundSTORY” edition V)
Her photographs and digital images of Yemen were exhibited at The 9 th International Photography Gathering in Aleppo, Syria in September 2006. |
